"To The Batmobile"
Hey babes! Happy Wednesday! This week has been crazy busy I'm so glad it is winding down! I am beyond obsessed with my new camera----but I will say I'm a total newbie when it comes to dslr! I've read the manual (nerd) and figured out some stuff but definitely need some help in that department! Gonna check out some classes and talk to my photog friends! Any of your have any tips,tricks, books, sites, etc. that you swear by?! Send them my way!

Getting your head around a DSLR is so complicated, there are so many options and possibilities, it's quite overwhelming at first (but in a good way!) :) You just need to practice, practice, practice - that's the best way to learn how to use it!

When I first started photography I didn't want to do what I really needed to do. Take a class and read the owners guide like it's your favorite book. When I started as an intern I realized I didn't know nearly as much as I thought I did when it came to photos so I did what I needed to do in the beginning, those two steps.

Ohh the photo quality is so much nicer with the DSLR, hehe. I used to use the stock lens but recently I purchased a 50mm for portraits and such and personally think it's much easier to take photos for my blog :)

ReplyDeleteNew camera's are awesome! Which one did you get? I have a Nikon, and usually take my outfit phortos with a portrait lens and in A-mode :) I started with auto too and slowley started learning more by asking friends and joining a facebook "club" :) xo Nikki
