Happy Hallows Eve Babies! I cannot believe it is Halloween already! The weather is finally cooling down here in Texas so I can pull out my knits and scarves! I'm super excited! But knowing me, two weeks of cold weather and I'll be ready for Summer again! Hahah I'm in love with these leather Theory leggings I picked up for a song a few weeks back! There are so many endless possibilities when you have a good base to begin with. Blazers, tees, knits--all pieces I'm dying to pair with these leggings!

The look is simple; yet, eye catching from the colors to the way she added the 'oomph' with the brooches on her collar! This look is perfect for Fall!

This Love

A good blazer--or should I say a few good blazers--are essential to making it through the Fall & Winter seasons. I'm personally partial to wearing blazers all year round; but, am planning to bring them in full force as the weather starts cooling down! You should at least have 2 blazers in your wardrobe: one in an everyday wear color such as black, white, or khaki and one in a fun color to mix and match with pieces in your wardrobe. A good blazer can take a plain look to the next level. A tee and jeans topped with a fitted elbow patch blazer is one of my fave go-to outfits!

Style Watch: Hair Clips

Hola babies! Happy Tuesday! I hope y'all had a fabulous weekend! Mine was spent with friends and attending an old friend's wedding! It was beautiful! It was held at a theater in Austin with a 20's theme. They had movie montages on during the cocktail hour and played jazz and classic favorites all night. Soo wonderful!

Hair clips offer an easy flair to any look and can be paired with just about anything. You can jazz up a tee and jeans or add some sparkle to a dress. Needless to say the possibilities are endless. RED

After twenty-some-odd years of blue, I have decided that RED is my new favorite color! Hahah Maybe it is just a phase; but, I'm in serious love. This weekend while doing some major damage---of the retail kind, I picked up this red Kate Spade bag! I'm obsessed! As soon as I walked in the store I knew I had to have it. And what else pray-tell did I purchase? A matching red wallet. That was a total coincidence though---I promise---I have been wanting a large red wallet for some time and there it happened to be as well. A match made in heaven, for sure!

No Nonsense

Hey babies! Happy Tuesday! I hope y'all had a good weekend! Mine was fab! I spent the weekend hanging out with my cousin, getting in some much needed retail therapy, and attending The Beach Boys concert! Let me just tell you---the weekend did not disappoint. Some of the highlights were snagging a pair of Theory leather pants that are to-die-for (cannot wait to style them!) and having the infamous "Uncle Jesse"--John Stamos--10ft away from me at The Beach Boys concert (that man is GORGEOUS!!).

On another note, I recently received a pair of tights and a pair leggings from No nonsense and am featuring them today in my post. I'll be honest and say that when I first put the tights on--I was definitely impressed. The material is great and they are soo soft! They are opaque enough to not be see through and thick enough to wear on those cold nights. Definitely recommend them to you guys looking for new tights during these upcoming cold months! Definitely my new faves!

Don't you just love listening to a song and letting it take you back to where you were the first time you heard it? Music is one my favorite art forms. It can change your mood, empower you, say things you didn't think were possible to put into words. Fashion, in a way, is also like that. It is a form of expressing yourself without words---but, it can be so powerful that it makes you react with words, phrases, feelings. Definitely two of my all time favorite things in this world.

Happy Monday Babies! I hope y'all had a good weekend! Mine was exceptionally "chill". It rained all weekend--so I just curled up with a book (my kindle) and my journal and did some soul-searching. Don't you just love moments like that?
