I stumbled across her blog a few months ago and just loved all of her outfit posts- she takes basic pieces and makes them fun. So with that in mind, I decided to share with you my take on the basics as well.

I know this sounds weird, but I love jewelry that reminds me of candy (probably because I love candy so much). Jewelry that has bright colors and is made of glossy plastic just appeals to me for some reason. I wear this necklace whenever I feel like adding some fun to my look. I used it here to dress up a plain pair of shorts and a tube top- it matched perfectly!
