Hey Babes! Welcome to Monday! Lots of work to get done this week! I've been busy planning some changes for the blog that I plan to implement in the next couple of weeks. Happy Thursday Loves! So glad this week is winding down. I love finding simple dresses with hints of "cool". This Zara dress I picked up has those hints of sparkle. The beaded collar and studded buttons take a relatively "simple" dress and pump it up. Add a denim jacket and some gold sequin booties and you're set for a fun day out!

Lace Me

Can you have jet lag even if you don't change time zones? I'm going to say YES---most definitely, I have been sooo tired since getting back from my trip it's ridiculous! Hola babies! I'm so excited to be back home! My trip to Bogota was tons of fun; but, sometimes you are just ready to be back in your own bed! You know?! I'm loving this denim top I found while in Bogota. Denim tops have been a constant in my summer wardrobe and I am sure they will be front and center during the fall as well! I stumbled across her blog a few months ago and just loved all of her outfit posts- she takes basic pieces and makes them fun. So with that in mind, I decided to share with you my take on the basics as well.

I know this sounds weird, but I love jewelry that reminds me of candy (probably because I love candy so much). Jewelry that has bright colors and is made of glossy plastic just appeals to me for some reason. I wear this necklace whenever I feel like adding some fun to my look. I used it here to dress up a plain pair of shorts and a tube top- it matched perfectly!
